R. Kelly Cancels Show

Citing "inclement weather," R and B artist R. Kelly has canceled his show tomorrow night at the Target Center. Kelly, who is on a 45-city tour to support his Double Up album said the show will not be rescheduled.

“Inclement weather” cracks this native Minnesotan up, surely Kelly isn’t talking about 20 degrees and partly cloudy skies as inclement weather. This music fan wonders if soft ticket sales aren’t the real reason behind the cancellation. Kelly has a unique elaborate stage set-up that probably costs more to run than the number of tickets sold for his Target Center show. Or perhaps Kelly’s run in with the law and his mandatory court appearance is in conflict with his Target Center stop, either way there will be at least a few disappointed R&B music fans in the Twin Cities.

Trans Siberian Orchestra at Target Center

The Trans Siberian Orchestra will be at the Target Center this weekend for it’s largest ever holiday tour. Trans Siberian will play in more than 90 cities over a ten week span that started on November 1st.

The Xcel Energy Center hosted TSO last year, but this year the Target Center booked the hit show just in time for the holidays. In fact, the show was so popular at the Xcel last year that the Target Center decided to book two Trans Siberian shows this Saturday December 15th at 3pm and 8pm. There are still great seats left from local ticket brokers and twin cities music fans won’t want to miss this hit sound and light show. Buy your Trans Siberian Tickets today! Happy Holidays everyone! Enjoy the show!

Timberwolves Tickets

It has officially hit rock bottom for Minnesota Timberwolves Ticket demand. My friend and his family headed down to the Target Center last Tuesday for the Timberwolves versus Lakers game. He was able to buy Minnesota Timberwolves Tickets with a face value of $260/Ticket for $50/Ticket. The seats were in the VIP section and only four rows from the court. I was amazed to hear that a person could buy Lakers/Timberwolves Tickets for 1/5 of the face value. In years past, that was an untouchable Timberwolves Ticket.

I am sure that with their slow start, there will be plenty of bargains to be had the rest of the season. Hearing those prices, I think I am going to have to venture down to Target Center Minneapolis for a couple of games this winter. Let's face it, it is still an NBA game even though the Timberwolves are having a down year.
