Target Center Concert Schedule has something for everyone

The Target Center Minneapolis continues to book a wide array of music for Minnesota music lovers. Whether you were a teen girl shrieking for the Jonas Brothers on Wednesday or you are holding Target Center tickets for the Foo Fighters this Wednesday or you prefer to see a live contemporary Christian show like Toby Mac and Jeremy Camp on Saturday March 1st, the Target Center has it all.

Foo Fighters at the Target Center

It’s less than a month away that the Foo Fighters will be in Minneapolis playing at the Target Center! Foo Fighters tickets have always been a hot item in Minneapolis, Dave Grohl always declares his love for the city and never forgets to let the audience know it! Target Center tickets for this show are sure to sell out so make sure you buy them soon! Dave Grohl and company are touring in support of their most recent album, “Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace.”

The Foo Fighters will be at the Target Center Wednesday, February 27th, 2008. Against Me! will be the opening act for the tour’s stop at the Target Center.

This is the first headlining show that the Foo Fighters have played in the past 5 years in Minneapolis. Last time they were in town they opened for Bob Dylan supporting their acoustic portion of ‘In Your Honor.’ They co-headlined the time before that with Weezer, but this time around they are 100% headlining the show! They close every show with ‘Everlong’ and I cannot wait to hear it!

Tom Petty at the Target Center

In the light of his Super Bowl XLII half-time performance on February 3rd, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers have announced a summer 2008 tour. Tom Petty tickets for the Target Center show on Wednesday, July 23rd, 2008 went on sale Monday, February 4th – the day after Tom Petty’s Super Bowl performance. Tom Petty has some big shoes to fill after Prince’s performance at the half time show last year, but a performer like Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers will have no problem!

Tom Petty is touring in support of his last album, Highway Companion, which he did without the Heartbreakers. Although critically acclaimed and loved by fans, it is vast catalog of crowd favorites that keeps the fans coming back!

Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers will be making a stop in every major city starting May 30th and continuing through the end of August. The last time Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers were in town was in 2006 with Pearl Jam. In 2006 they played two consecutive nights at the Xcel Energy Center. Opening the show time around will be Steve Winwood, who in addition to a solo career, he has been a member of Traffic and the Go.

Although the concert is not until the end of the summer it’s best to get your Tom Petty tickets early – they are sure to be the hottest ticket in town – even in July!
