The Lynx have firmly shown the WNBA that they are the team to beat. The Lynx recently just pounded the reigning league champion Seattle with a score of 92-67 at the Target Center in front of a crowd of 7,856.
The Lynx will meet second place San Antonio on Sunday afternoon and again Thursday at the Target Center.
What is at the core of the Lynx's success? Or should I say who... Maya Moore. Moore has solidified her place as an emerging super star. Alongside Seimone Augustus, who just became the WNBA's fastest player to reach the 3,000-point mark, it appears that Maya Moore and the Lynx are serious contenders emerging to knock on the championship-door.
