Chicago and Earth, Wind & Fire in Minneapolis

Two iconic American bands, Chicago and Earth, Wind & Fire are coming to the Minneapolis Target Center on Wednesday July 1st. The two bands have been touring together since 2004 and the joint performance has been talked about as one of the greatest musical spectaculars in recent touring history. A DVD of the a Los Angeles show from the tour went double platinum almost as soon as it was released... and critics are saying that show is only getting better.

The concert will start with a collaboration between the two groups and then each band will play a full set and the show will end with another full set of both groups on-stage together. Fans can look forward to an awesome night of music!

Both bands are passionate about fighting hunger and are asking for a donation of 3 food pantry items or $3 and in-return are giving fans a download card to access tracks unavailable anywhere else, go to http://www.ewfandchicago.com/ for more details.

Don't miss this once in a lifetime show from two of the most influential American rock-bands.

Target Center lacking major Concert Announcements

It seems to me that most of the major concert announcements lately are at the Xcel Energy Center in Saint Paul (i.e. Eric Clapton Steve Winwood on sale this Saturday). Sure, the Target Center has Britney and Nickelback in April, but I am surprised there haven't been more shows announced in May and June...unless you count Andre Rieu or Disturbed as a major name and I am sure there are fans out there that do.

I heard Taylor Swift and Kellie Pickler are coming in October, but what about a hot summer ticket? The Target Center is pretty quiet regarding major concert announcements lately. Any predictions on who they might entice to stop at Target Center this summer? I would love to hear the predictions!
