Kobe Bryant may ride out the NBA lockout overseas in Italy. Others that depend on the existence of the league may not be so lucky...If the lockout persists and more than just the preseason is cancelled, you're talking about lost jobs and collateral economic damages. The loss of games will mean loss of jobs for waitresses, bartenders, hotel workers and others who count on the NBA season for their paychecks.
Players and owners will be alright, but will everyone else?
