All Star Game Recap: All Four Lynx Play Well


Four Lynx played in the WNBA All Star game on Saturday afternoon in San Antonio. Here's how each of the players did:

Maya Moore: Scored 10 points on 5-15 shooting. Also recorded three steals, assists, and rebounds. She played for close to 23 minutes. She was the first rookie to start since Tamika Catchings and Sue Bird both did it in 2002.

Rebekkah Brunson: Started in place of Candace Parker. Efficiently scored 20 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. It was her second All Star appearance.

Lindsay Whalen: Had 6 assists, 5 rebounds, and four points. It was her second All Star appearance. She played 17 minutes.

Seimone Augustus: Was making her 3rd All Star appearance. Played 17 minutes and scored 9 points had 2 rebounds and 3 assists.

Minnesota Lynx are in First Place???


The Minnesota Lynx beat the mighty Phoenix Mercury last night. The Minnesota Lynx are now in first place in the WNBA. This is huge for the franchise. They were led by Seimone Augustus, who led the team in scoring with 25 points. Lindsay Whalen and Maya Moore chipped in 16 points as the Lynx won 106-98. At one point, they led 88-73 with a little over 8 minutes to go. The Lynx ended the Mercury's 5 game home winning streak.

Wow the Lynx are bossy. Hopefully they can keep this up and then they'll bring home the WNBA Championship baby!

Minnesota Lynx Dominate Sun with Huge Third Quarter


Maya Moore had a breakout game as she scored a career high 26 points against the Connecticut Sun on Sunday. It was a match up of two second place teams in their respective conferences. The Lynx arre in second place in the Western Conference while the Sun is in second place in the Eastern Conference.

The Lynx only led led by one at half time. And the the third quarter happened. The Lynx outscore the Sun 23-6 in the third quarter on their way to a 90-67 shellacking of the Connecticut Sun.

The Lynx are now 7-3 and are still in 2nd place in the Western Conference.

The Minnesota Lynx are Actually Really, Really Good


The Lynx are so good. They got a much needed win against Tulsa and are now 6-3, good for second place in the Western Conference. With Maya Moore and Simone Augustus on the team, they are just pretty darn bossy. They absolutely slaughtered Tulsa 101-71, forcing 27 turnovers.

So if your looking for something to do, head down to the Target Center and watch the dominating Lynx. They are absolute studs and are going to win the WNBA Championship.
